Shimri Rodelas

Founder and Chief Executive Officer

• Shimri is the Founder of Powersense and Creator of Streamline energy analytics and Prophesy market price forecasting. He has more than a decade of experience on Philippines’ power industry doing market modeling, forecasting, and energy marketing. He is very passionate on developing energy applications and commercializing new products and technologies in the distribution utilities, industrial and commercial space. He managed (closed/renewed) more than 1,000 MW of contract transactions, heavily involved in a total of ~USD 2,400 Million business auction deals (2014-18), developed contract pricing models, commercial models used for energy planning and forecasting generation business margins.

• Prior to Powersense, Shimri worked at AES Philippines for 8 years under commercial planning and as head of marketing. Upon successful sale of AES Philippines share to San Miguel Global Power, Shimri continued to perform the marketing role as Retail Electricity Supply Manager until 2019.

• Shimri has a degree in Electrical Engineering from Mapua Institute of Technology and completed certificate courses – Basic Management Program at Asian Institute of Management (AIM), Fundamental concepts in Financial Management: Accounting, Economics and Quantitative Methods and capital budgeting at University of the Philippines (Diliman) College of Business Administration as part of AES Philippines’ Frontline Leadership Development Program.
